Had a wonderful stay for a night. This hotel had a central position in pretty park. And we were adjacent to the centre which required extra costs for transportation, beautiful grounds and a lovely garden.

The location was EXCEPTIONALLY NICE - so close to the centre which required extra costs for transportation, beautiful grounds and the forest in the back. The food was brilliant with a good choice of choice!

Very comfortable hotel just outside of Oxford in a country setting. Excellent breakfasts and very helpful staff. We stayed in a family room and it was quite spacious. The owners have chickens, ducks, rabbits and an organic garden on the large grounds which provided a good source of entertainment for our children. We would definitely return.

I was unable to use many of the facilities; I had a two night stay while my mother was having a life threatening operation in oxford, I was very disappointed in the room, double room single occupancy, the room was small, the sink in the shower room had no plug, the toilet was under a sloping roof so it was easy to bang your head, also the seat was lose, if you wanted to make tea or coffee you had to crawl around on your hands and knee’s to use the kettle, the tv was small but good, I have stayed many times in much nicer rooms for half the price. I had time for one breakfast that was good; the restaurant has lovely garden views, I was going to have some lunch on the Tuesday but after sitting in the bar for 30 minutes without seeing a soul I lost the will and went to my room. My mother pulled through so all is well, but if I go back to oxford I will be staying somewhere else.

Nice location. Wooded garden was pleasant..some ground floor rooms had French windows and bench seat-(unfortunately our superior room was upstairs.) staff really obliging and hotel was well located for Oxford city. (However, be warned, you have to like a hard mattress on your bed)! ! ! altogether a pleasant visit.

My family member are 5 persons. the hotel provided us one room that was wide enough for 5 persons. I seldom find such hotel. Normaly we are separated into two rooms.
There is nothing special for us.

Nothing in particular, the whole thing is equally good.
A la carte menu is not quite so varied as the previous one. And a trouser press would be helpful.

the decor of the hotel was to my taste, the breakfast was lovely and the location was great for the park and ride into the city,
the plumbing in the hotel was poor as we could hear everytime the adjoining or the above guests used the loo or the shower, and i mean it was really loud so hence didnt get much sleep really

Stayed at this hotel the night before dropping our son off at Oxford uni. 5 minutes drive from city centre and better value than hotels in central Oxford. Breakfast good and the dinner menu looked interesting however we'd eated before arrival. Ask for room 4, four poster bed and large balony to sit out on with view of garden. We will stay here again.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The location is quite secluded (woodland setting but with some motorway noise) but provides easy access to Oxford by car.
The rooms are a bit overpriced. The use of Yale style locks on the doors means that it is easy to inadvertently leave your room unlocked.
